ENERZAi Expands Broadcom Partnership with On-Device AI Demos at Network X 2026

On-device smart home agents and traffic classification showcased on Broadcom NPUs at Sagemcom and KAON booths

SF, CA, UNITED STATES, October 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ENERZAi, an edge AI software company, is expanding its work with Broadcom across customer-premises equipment (CPE), the company announced today. At Network X 2026, held October 13 through 15 in Vienna, ENERZAi demonstrated AI running on Broadcom silicon at the booths of Sagemcom and KAON Group — The company showcased its technology alongside Broadcom ecosystem partners for the second consecutive month, following IBC 2026 in September.

Network X is an annual gathering of telecom operators and network, semiconductor, and software companies. This year’s exhibitors included Broadcom, Qualcomm, Comcast, AT&T, and KT, with AI-driven networks among the event’s main themes.

ENERZAi develops ultra-lightweight AI agents that run entirely on devices with limited memory and computing power. Its on-device AI has been commercially deployed on more than 3 million smart home devices, including set-top boxes. At Network X, the company ran its demos on commercial devices built by partners that manufacture CPE on Broadcom chips.

Cloud AI Workloads, Moved onto the Device
The common thread across both demos: Both demonstrations showcased how AI workloads traditionally processed in the cloud can be executed directly on devices through optimization for Broadcom’s neural processing unit(NPU).

Smart Home AI Agent, shown at the Sagemcom booth, combines speech recognition, a small language model for understanding intent and generating responses, and speech synthesis in a single on-device pipeline. Users control appliances and check their status hands-free using voice commands. The agent carries context from earlier in the conversation and handles vague requests — “I’m cold” — by proposing the right adjustment, with the entire process handled on the device.

Network Traffic Classification, shown on a Wi-Fi router at the KAON booth, identifies what each device is using the network for, so operators can give priority bandwidth to critical services and improve quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE). Classification work that previously ran in the cloud runs directly on the Broadcom NPU, sorting traffic quickly and accurately from minimal data.

Building Out the Broadcast and Telecom Value Chain
The Network X demos extend a run of joint appearances with Broadcom that began at IBC 2026, as ENERZAi builds partnerships at every stage of the broadcast and telecom value chain, from chipmakers to CPE manufacturers to operators.

In Korea, the company has supplied voice-command AI to more than 3 million LG Uplus set-top boxes. Overseas, it supplies on-device AI models to CPE manufacturers and is in commercialization discussions with global operators that have completed proofs of concept.

Second Straight Year at Synaptics Tech Day
ENERZAi’s semiconductor partnerships extend beyond Broadcom. On October 20, the company attended Synaptics Tech Day 2026 in San Jose, its second consecutive year at the event.

ENERZAi contributes directly to the development of Torq, the open AI compiler at the center of the Synaptics edge AI software stack. That work gives ENERZAi the ability to run its AI models efficiently on Astra, including the newly introduced Astra SR200 series featuring an NPU developed in collaboration with Google Research, and the Coralboard SR development platform built around it. As the industry shifts away from closed, black-box NPU toolchains toward open development environments, ENERZAi is fielding a growing number of compiler development and optimization inquiries from chipmakers.

“Network X showed that the on-device AI we commercialized in set-top boxes is now spreading across smart home devices,” said Hanhim Chang, CEO of ENERZAi. “The next step is turning our technical work with Broadcom, Synaptics, and other semiconductor partners into deployments in real customer products, and growing our commercial footprint in the global on-device AI market.”

About ENERZAi
ENERZAi is an edge AI software company that develops ultra-lightweight AI agents running entirely on resource-constrained devices. Built on the company’s full-stack edge AI software technology, from extreme low-bit quantization down to 1.58 bits to its proprietary AI compiler Optimium, ENERZAi’s on-device AI has been commercially deployed on more than 3 million smart home devices, including set-top boxes. The company works with partners across the broadcast and telecom value chain, including Broadcom, Synaptics, LG Uplus, and KAON Group, and is expanding from smart home into home appliances, automotive, and other device categories.
