From Historic Flight to New Futures: Flying Over Time Brings Aviation and STEM Opportunities to Las Vegas Foster Youth

Flying Over Time brings aviation history, drone demos and a new STEM challenge to Las Vegas Oct. 24, opening doors for foster youth and young adults.

Sometimes all it takes is exposure, opportunity and one person who sees that spark”

— Nova Hall

LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Before the Spirit of St. Louis made history, the idea behind it was turned down. Donald A. Hall designed it anyway, and the world changed. Ninety Nine years later, Flying Over Time is bringing that foundation to create representation with accessibility for opportunity with our youth, and foster youth.

A City Gave a Day. We Are Giving It Back.
The City of Las Vegas has proclaimed October 24 Foster Care Chamber of Commerce Day. Rather than celebrate itself, the Chamber is giving every hour to foster youth, their families and the partners who stand with them. “The city gave us a day, so we’re giving the day back to our kids and our community” said Hunter Cain, founder and executive director of the Foster Care Chamber of Commerce.

Flight Itinerary

• October 23: Partnered mini-expo for foster youth at CSN. We will debut the qualifications and
discussions for PRE-VUE Vegas. Early Registration.
• October 24: Our debut 100th exhibition model teaching the history, impact, and significance of
Donald Hall and the Spirit of St. Louis, complete with original blueprints and equipment models.
• PRE-VUE, VEGAS: The launch of Flying Over Times’ STEM Challenge in environmental science,
aviation technology and aquatic systems, with leagues for ages 14 to 18 and 18 to 24, including
dedicated foster care and transitional age youth leagues, building toward a May 2027 finale
• DRONE DEMO CERTIFICATION: A live drone demo introducing recreational flying and the path
to an FAA Part 107 commercial pilot license

Why Your Gift Matters Now
Las Vegas is the first city in the Spirit100 campaign. $19,000 opens the exhibit and puts 19 students in Roots2Wings drone classes. $27,000 funds 27 students and brings Nova Hall, grandson of Donald A. Hall, to Las Vegas to deliver the keynote in person. Forty percent of every gift goes directly to student
classes. “Not every future engineer looks like one at fifteen,” Hall said. “Sometimes all it takes is exposure, opportunity and one person who sees that spark.”

A new flight, for a new era. The journey toward the great centennial begins here.
